I thought I would share this thought-provoking interview with Princeton University president Shirley Tilghman with you.
She was on the Charlie Rose show on Monday night, and she discusses the economic situation colleges are in now, as well as challenges women face in the sciences. As you may know, I lived in Princeton for 11 years before coming to Rhode Island, and at the moment I have two girls applying to college. So this all seems very relevant.
